Never have I ever written on topics outside the realm of science and technology, but there always is a first time for everything. A lot of my readers may already be familiar that I have been training students to achieve higher in areas of big data engineering, data analytics, and data science. If I had to guess, I must have trained over 400 IT professionals by now. The latest trend of work-from-home may relatively be a new concept for many, but not for me.

I have been working from home long before COVID, and in some ways, I have perfected the art. I can tell you that working from home may have several benefits related to commuting, flexibility, and autonomy BUT also comes with several downsides. Among other things, work-from-home promotes the culture of being always ON. As if the pressure of work-from-home and COVID were not enough other factors crept in such as war, inflation, lay-offs, and market slowdown. Combine everything and the perfect recipe for stress has been created. How can one deal with all this extra pressure? And that’s precisely the topic of my first ever non-fiction article.
